The hours between the cross and the empty tomb were not a pause. The architecture of the unseen realm was being reorganized from the inside.
Most of us move from the crucifixion to the resurrection in a single breath. Friday afternoon to Sunday morning — a silence, a waiting. We rarely stop to ask what was happening in the unseen realm in between.
It was not a pause.
Episode 8 of the Kingdom Architecture Podcast maps the most dramatic cosmic event in the Kingdom that almost no one ever thinks about: Christ’s descent into Sheol. Before he ascended, Paul tells us in Ephesians 4, he descended — into the lower parts of the earth, into a structured realm that Jesus himself described with architectural precision in Luke 16. There he proclaimed the good news to the imprisoned spirits, gathered the righteous dead who had been waiting since Abraham, and led them in a victory parade toward Paradise.

That train matters more than you might expect.
